Jung Yonghwa of CNBLUE shows off his solid acting, drawing viewers’ attention.

In the episode of MBC Wed-Thur drama ‘Heartstrings’ aired on the 14th, there’s the scene of Lee Shin very hurt seeing Yoonsu (played by So Yihyun) in Seokhyun’s (played by Sung Changil) arms. Kyuwon (played by Park Shinhye) feels very sorry for him.

Following yesterday’s release of SNSD Seohyun’s diary from Paris, the group’s maknae unveiled another entry that looks to be written on the day of the “SM Town Live in Paris” concert!

Here’s the full translation:

Finally today’s the day! It’s not SNSD’s solo concert, but a concert by “SM TOWN.” Because of that, I was happy to see a lot of people I haven’t seen in a long time. A lot of these sunbaes and hoobaes (seniors and juniors) are busy with their respective schedules, but to see them again felt really “GOOD.”

And then the SM TOWN rehearsals! We said hi to each other, asked how other artists were doing. But it felt extra good that we all came to a foreign country to hold a concert together. Especially, each group put on uniquely different performances, so we were able to point out each other’s strengths and weaknesses…I think it was a good way to study and learn more, which made this concert all the more meaningful.

We had a variety of special performances... my stage was a duet song with Super Junior’s Kyu Hyun. I was super nervous, but it still felt great. The duet song of “Way Back Into Love” with Kyu Hyun sunbae made my Paris concert much more special. Because it’s my first concert in Paris, I really wanted to give an unforgettable performance.

Kyu Hyun sunbae’s sweet and soft voice is just unbelievable. Of course, he’s a great signer too. Honestly, that kind of made me feel more pressure. But when I got on stage, I felt so much at ease and good, because I could tell Kyu Hyun was really trying hard to adjust to myself. Looking back, I feel more thankful for that. If it weren’t for Kyu Hyun, it would have been a lot harder for me to sing on that stage. I really appreciate it.

Finally SNSD’s performance! During the duet song with Kyu Hyun, I was so caught with the song, I didn’t really get a chance to see the audience. But during our performance, I was able to better notice each fan in the crowd. And I couldn’t be more surprised! Everyone was European, in fashionable styles. At first glance, I could tell the whole crowd was full of not just French people, but Europeans from all across the region.

And to see them sing along our songs in Korean brought tears to my eyes. It was a different feeling than what I felt in countries like Japan, China, or other Southeast Asian countries. I was just so emotionally touched by them, my heart just kept on pounding.

I mean I was seeing something that I’ve never seen before in my life. Their different faces and expressions are still vividly clear in my mind. Their cheers and smiles, and for giving us a standing ovation, I was just so emotionally overwhelmed, and I just kept repeating to myself, “We are Korean singers, SNSD.”

As we performed our hit songs including, “Run Devil Run,” “Genie,” “Gee,” and “Kissing You,” I could feel us getting a lot closer to the audience. We greeted the fans with our clumsy French, and the crowd responded back in Korean, and just like that the concert headed to the climax. Through music we became one and shared the time of our lives heart to heart together.

Korean media Naeil News unveiled today an exclusive column titled, “SNSD Seohyun’s Paris Diaries,” written personally by Seohyun herself. She shares the feelings about her first-ever trip to France, Hallyu in Europe, and the SM Town Concert in Paris, as well as some personal photos through this entry reflecting the candid emotions that ran through her mind during the visit.

Here’s the full excerpt:

"My first-ever visit to Paris, France. Everything was new and strange to me. Of course, I slowly got used to it day by day, but everything was a new experience for me.

Today I made good memories at the Montmartre. Paris seen from the Montmartre hill was amazingly beautiful. Ah, to save that moment, I took a lot of photos and tried my best to keep everything in memory.

I also went to the Sacre Coeur Basilica. But the back alley of the church was a completely new world. With tons of street artists, it made a very creative and open atmosphere. That made me wonder: what would I look like in a picture drawn by a Montmartre artist? Without a hesitation, I asked for my portrait. For about 30 minutes, I sat there with my heart fluttering. But the waiting time was not boring at all. I was actually excited thinking about my portrait, and just happy to get out of the regular life and make new memories at a new place.

The moment I saw the portrait, it felt very weird. The drawing was pretty. But I looked more like a Western person than Asian. I told the artist, “merci beacoup (thank you very much)” and left the Montmartre. I just made unforgettable memories from the beautiful Montmartre.

And then I went to the famed sorbet street in Ile Saint Louis. Everyone on the street was holding an ice cream. I heard the sorbet here was made only with fruits, no cream. There were long lines of people waiting for their order. The taste of the sorbet from that day was the freshest and most memorable in my life.

In Paris, I tried a lot of different types of food. I’m not a big fan of sweet stuff but I ate traditional French snacks like Macaron, Crepe, and chocolat….and even tried escargots! But the taste of the sorbet was “daebak (the best).” The different moments and scenes, I just wanted to fully enjoy the different cultures in Paris while I’m here.

While enjoying ourselves here, we faced a really funny situation. Local Parisians actually recognized us. I’m not talking about Koreans living in France; but real French people. They spotted us and quickly approached us asking, “are you SNSD?” We were of course very surprised. We couldn’t believe people noticed who we were…like we were really shocked.

And they didn’t just call us Girls’ Generation, but “So Nyuh Shi Dae” in Korean. Some said, “Happy to meet you. We’re going to your concert,” and others said, in English, “I really love SNSD’s music, but I’m French.” I didn’t really imagine people would recognize us, but it was just unreal how people were able to tell who we were even before we had our concerts there. I made great memories here today in Paris. Fighting SNSD, fighting Korea.”

SNSD reveals teaser for their Japanese album

On June 1st, SNSD will be releasing their first Japanese original album “GIRLS’ GENERATION”. That’s still a few weeks away so to keep fans happy, they’ve released a special teaser for their upcoming album!

This album will have 12 songs including their hit singles “GENIE”, “Gee”, “Run Devil Run” and “MR. TAXI”. In addition, three types will also be released: Deluxe First Press Limited Edition, Limited Edition and Regular Edition.

May 16th marks the arrival of the Coming-of-Age day, also known as the day for a young person to move on from their adolescence and into adulthood.

Girls' Generation's Seohyun is one of the many who has officially turned into an adult. To celebrate this transition, a billboard with pictures of Seohyun has been installed at the "Seohyun Station" at Bundang. DC Inside's "We Got Married" gallery, or also known as fans of the YongSeo couple, decided on the Billboard idea and attached it since May 15th to celebrate Seohyun's adulthood.

A short congratulatory message and a number of Seohyun's pictures were chosen. This included Seohyun's SM Entertainment audition pictures, her debut pictures as well as a recent picture. A fan explained, "With permission from the photographer in charge of Girls' Generation's Marie Claire photoshoot as well as from SM Entertainment, the Billboard was installed."

A picture of the board was circulated around twitter and many are taking an interest in visiting the subway station. One commented, "There's a Seohyun board at Seohyun station? I better go see for myself."

On another note, on the most recent episode of SBS's "Running Man" which aired on May 15th, the "Seohyun Station" was featured as the "Girls' Generation station of Bundang".

On the ‘Rising Star’ corner of MBC’s ‘Section TV’ aired on the April 24th, Jung YongHwa talked about the things he was up to lately.

In this episode, YongHwa received a question asking if he feels the ‘void’ after his marriage with Seohyun on MBC ‘We Got Married’ ended.

Girls' Generation left for Beijing in the morning of April 23rd to attend the Samsung China Fanmeeting. The girls were spotted at the Incheon International Airport, and were greeted by fans at the Beijing Airport when they landed.

The girls reportedly sang their hit songs, 'Oh!', 'Gee' and 'Hoot'. They also interacted and took pictures with the fans, and also watched a video using 3D glasses. The girls also made some attempts to speak in Chinese in order to better communicate with the fans present.

Due to the SBS's Inkigayo special performance that will be held at Jeju Island on April 24th, the girls left Beijing today in order to fulfil their busy schedules.

Jung Yonghwa and Seohyun shared their last moments together on MBC's "We Got Married" and relived their experiences together. MBC aired the final episode of the 'YongSeo Couple' (CN Blue's Jung Yonghwa (22) and Girls' Generation's Seohyun (20)) who were adored by television viewers.

During the broadcast, by way of bringing their memories to a close, the couple spent time together looking back on their first meeting. When they both asked questions to each other, Yonghwa found some difficulties and couldn't hide his surprise as Seohyun answered even the subjective questions instantly. He consequently received repeated 'ddakbam' (finger flicks to the forehead) as punishment.

Yonghwa bragged that "At first, I couldn't even joke around with Seohyun, but now she's the one fooling with me." Seohyun, on the other hand, felt that things were finally coming to an end when they visited their house to reminisce. "Seeing the mission envelope makes me realize that we have achieved a lot together"

Meanwhile Yonghwa caught Seohyun by surprise as he presented her the pink guitar she had initially wanted, as a special gift. Seohyun did the same for Yonghwa by showing a 'YongSeo Couple' storybook detailing their story together.

As the show progressed, Seohyun could not help but cry knowing that their journey in "We Got Married" had ended.

When asked about the storybook, she replied "I can feel what it felt like when we first met, and I thought we could treasure the memories like in a picture" before tears began to fall. The couple seemed so crestfallen by the finality that even after they had said goodbye when Yonghwa brought Seohyun home, she came back out to share a final embrace.

Having received love over the past year since their first appearance on February 27th, the 'YongSeo Couple' have finally ended their married life.

Despite both being busy with Japanese promotions, they showed strong attachment during WGM filming and on other television shows. However, their future promotion plans meant that they had to bring it to a close. SNSD will begin their Japanese promotions in earnest this April. Yonghwa will be starring in the new MBC Drama "Festival" with Park Shinhye, as well as end his MC activities on Inkigayo.

Even with the end of their fake marriage on MBC’s “We Got Married,” Jung Yong Hwa and Seo Hyun (also known as the sweet potato couple) are continuing to support each other. On March 21st, CNBlue had a press conference for their first full album “First Step.” The members were asked questions about their new album as well as about Seo Hyun of Girs Generation.

Jung Yong Hwa stated, “At first, Seo Hyun said she’ll come to the press conference to support our new album. But when I mentioned that the event will be more of a guerilla concert with fans, she said she’ll send her heart instead. Even though our pretend marriage is over, we’re still there for each other.”

Even fellow CNBlue members were surprised to see Jung Yong Hwa’s romantic side on “We Got Married.” Bassist Jung Shin confessed, “It was strange. I didn’t know he could be a romantic.” After his experiences as a husband, Jung Yong Hwa said, “I believe the key to marriage is doing everything you can for your spouse without regret.”

Jung Yong Hwa and Seo Hyun have been a pretend married couple for about a year and have decided to leave “We Got Married” because of their busy schedules.

[마이데일리 = 백솔미 기자] 남성 4인조 밴드 씨엔블루(CNBLUE)의 리더 정용화가 걸그룹 소녀시대의 멤버 서현과의 우정을 과시했다.

정용화는 21일 오후 서울 영등포 타임스퀘어에 위치한 엠펍에서 진행된 씨엔블루의 첫 정규 앨범 '퍼스트 스텝(FIRST STEP)' 발매 기념 기자간담회에서 서현의 응원을 받았다고 밝혔다.

현재 MBC '우리 결혼했어요 시즌2'에서 서현과 가상 결혼생활을 하고 있는 정용화는 "쇼케이스 한다고 서현이한테 얘기했더니 온다고 하더라"라며 "진짜로 올거냐고 물었더니 마음만 보낸다고 응원해줬다"고 전했다.

이어 "서현이나 나나 서로 활동하는 거에 있어서 응원해주고 있다. 서로에게 힘을 주고 있다"고 덧붙였다.

기자간담회를 마친 씨엔블루는 이날 오후 7시 타임스퀘어 야외에서 게릴라 라이브 콘서트를 펼친다. 타이틀곡 '직감'을 포함 총 7곡을 팬들에게 먼저 선보일 예정이다.

첫 정규 앨범 '퍼스트 스텝'에는 멤버들이 진정한 뮤지션으로서 한 발을 내딛는다는 뜻으로 자작곡 10곡을 수록, '직감' '러브 걸(LOVE GIRL)' '상상(Imagine)' 등 신곡들을 비롯 총 12곡이 담겼다.

특히 이번 앨범에는 일본 오리콘 인디즈 차트에서 주간차트 1위를 차지했지만 국내에서는 발매되지 않은 '원 타임(one time)', '아이 돈 노우 와이(I don't know why)' 등 일본 싱글 번안곡들도 담겨있다.

For eight months, CNBLUE’s Jung Yonghwa has been MCing alongside 2AM’s Jo Kwon and f(x)’s Sulli for SBS’s “Inkigayo“. The star has decided that it’s time for him to retire his ‘Inkigayo’ mic, and he plans to bid farewell to viewers during this week’s episode.
According to an SBS representative, Jung Yonghwa will be hosting his last episode on March 13th. He decided to end his ‘Inkigayo’ career because his schedule was becoming too packed; Yonghwa will not only be preparing for CNBLUE’s upcoming promotions, but he will also be filming for MBC’s new drama, “Festival“. He also has to film for MBC’s “We Got Married.”
The sunny MC will be replaced by not just one, but two MCs. “Inkigayo” will be introducing IU and B2ST’s Kikwang to MC alongside Jo Kwon and Sulli for future episodes.

A SBS representative spoke through Star News and revealed, “There will now be four MCs. Lee Kikwang is known for his talented MCing skills amongst the other idols, and we expect him to create a synergy effect alongside Jo Kwon.”

SNSD’s Seohyun is known to be on the popular MBC show, “We Got Married”, along with CNBLUE’s Jung Yonghwa as a ‘couple’.
Recently, Jung Yonghwa was in a CF, and in one scene, he is shown with a picture of Seohyun, surprising some fans.
The theme of the CF is that Jung Yonghwa invites a girlfriend over for a date at his house.
In one part, shot in the bedroom, he is shown trying to cover up several pictures. In this part, he says, “Why do you think I’m trying to cover this up?”, making fans curious about whose picture it could possibly be.
He eventually showed his diary, in which he had stuck in a picture of Seohyun.
